Today isn't so very crafty creative unfortunately. It turned into more of a "how to entertain a 2 year old" type of creativity. It is an important way to be creative & be prepared. Waiting rooms aren't like they used to be & you can wait for up to an hour these days to get in to your appointment. Luckily it wasn't quite that long today, but still I do go prepared with things to try to keep him happy & entertained & as disruptive to other people as possible. I don't care that I am reading to a room full of people as well as BJ though. lol
To see other creative people who may have had a chance to be crafty today check out the list at Kirsty's place.
But while you are here please check out yesterdays post with some colours of yarn I have. Help me decide on the poll on the right, which one to use next! Thanks!

Sometimes ideas to keep the kids entertained can be the most creative! I've voted for the green red yellow yarn, and look forward to how the colours work out :)
I'm sure the rest of the people in the waiting room enjoyed the distraction - I know I would! :)
hi mandy! thanks for dropping by my blog. :D
how cute is elmo from sesame street hehe... ;-).
cheers!

I don't think you can ever be too prepared when waiting at the doctor's surgery, who knows how long they will be and any time is a good time to read to a little one. I hope all is well. :)
Oh doctor's waiting rooms... awful awful places. Hope the vedict for BJ was a positive one - and hope you find some time to be creative just for yourself sometime soon. So so so important to look after yourself too!!!
Hi Mandy, Thanks so much for dropping in on my blog. I know what you mean by the dreaded doctors waiting room. Unfortunately these days a trip to a good doctor can mean a long wait. I'm glad it was not too long today though :)
Hi Mandy,
Elmo is adorable. I've voted! I love doing those things. Sounds like you needed to get very creative indeed. I hope the waiting room appreciated the story:)
Although I don't have kids of my own yet, I know exactly what you mean. You really DO need to conjure up all aspects of creativity and spontaneity to entertain toddlers. I'm always on my toes when friends with kids come to visit. It's particularly hard when I don't have any kids toys or books to offer them.
Your blocks are very cute indeed... and i also really like your header.
