My Creative Space

I have been working on copying the pattern for the pjs for everyone out of the Heather Ross Weekend Sewing, while I have it from the library. It's a lovely book & there are so many things to inspire. I just need a couple of pants patterns for the toddler now so might try this pjs & the Huck Finn pants in the book.

Have got a couple more rows done of the Rainbow Ripple. Amazing what you can hook while playing Thomas trains with the little one! It's really just a matter of sitting with him & not quite so much of the playing. So play time becomes quite efficient. lol

What beautiful ziggy colours- and you must have a great local library! Ours has a few Kaffe Fassetts but nothing else particularly hip.

Your rainbow ribbles are looking very happy indeed. Glad you got a bit of hooking done and playing too. They enjoy just having you near by don't they!

I 'play' like that with my boys too, as long as I'm within eyesight they're fine! Great rainbow too! Vic xx

Hello there, Thanks for stopping round at my blog and leaving a lovely comment.
I love your ripple! Great colours. I tried to do one once but failed miserably. Having read your previous posts I'm now thinking that I should follow your lead and try again.
Thanks for the inspiration.

Hello Mandy, what a lovely blog you have, so nice to meet you. I just LOVE your ripple blanket. I only ever saw my Grandma do these, and she taught me and I have always called it 'grandma zig zag' I have even made scarves in it. Your colours are delightful.

Looovely rainbow crocheting! Great colours!
Going back to your previous blog I have to say I'm jealous that you have been to see Dorothy! I have a two year old that would probably sacrifice her George giraffe to see the Wiggles ensemble! :) Do they ever come to Scotland?! One day....!
PS.Thankyou for your lovely comments on my blog :)x

I know what you mean about crochet and kiddies. That is what I do. I am trying to learn to sew but I have to do that when they are in bed. Crochet works really well.

Those colours look great :D
