Wanting:  a rest from the crazy weeks schedule.
Looking: forward to holidays
Deciding:  on the last few Christmas gifts.
Wishing:  Every one a joyous Christmas!
Enjoying:  Our family elf Douglas & his reindeer friend Maggie.
Waiting:  for boys to be asleep on time each night   
Wondering:  If Santa did a good job or not.  lol
Loving:  Surprises!
Pondering:  what I have missed for Christmas.
Listening:  to Pentatonix new Christmas album.
Considering:  alternatives to get the boy to sleep on time in the coming week!!!  (hehehe, no not really!)
Buying:  Christmas stuff
Watching:  Outlander
Hoping: the weather is good when we go camping.
Marvelling:  at DJ's portfolio from school.  The teacher has put a huge effort into it.  Totally incredible...  
Cringing:  at how cold it got again & the fact there was snow in the Highlands.
Needing:  Just a little more time alone to get things done.
Questioning:  
Smelling: gingerbread biscuits
Wearing: Summer clothing!  & then putting them away again for warmer ones!!!
Following: not much right now, no time.
Disliking:  crazy weather
Opening: some presents at a work Christmas party.
Giggling: at DJ & the stories he comes out with... pineapples in underpants just took the prize!  
Feeling:  worn out
Hearing:  lots of Christmas carols.
Celebrating:  the birth of Jesus.
Pretending:  isn't this time of your full of pretence?
Embracing:  the joys of all things special about the season.

A portrait of my boys once a week for a year.

So the boys have spent this past term doing "Circus" at school.  Sounds like fun doesn't it!

Well the end came with a performance for all the classes.

The Kinder show was the day before the rest as they aren't at school Friday.  So I got to see that one at least. They were clowns.  Was cute.  DJ is doing a lot of balancing.

BJ's class did something involving "Occupations"  He was a policeman & caught the robbers.  I have seen a video of the whole classes performance so that was good.  

Slow Socks

These shouldn't have taken as long as they did but the last week has been mental & I have been too exhausted.  There were 2 nights that I couldn't even pick up the knitting as I had no inclination whatsoever....  that rarely happens...

Anyway, they are done.  Another pair of Crazy Zauberball wool socks.  They look really cool.  I hope someone likes them.

Thursday Thanks (Late!)

• The coming end of year.  We're over school!  lol
• Great school reports.
• Enjoyable end of year picnics for the boys.
• I got to go on the Kinder picnic!  Yay!  
• Good work days that keep me sane.  lol
• Weekends to recover from the week!!!  
• End of swimming at a new place & a huge improvement!  So encouraging to see.
• Enjoyable 8 weeks of Milo Cricket.
• Terrific teachers for both boys.  Can't ever be thankful enough for the teachers they had this year...

Wishing Tree

Last year the elf left the boys money to pick a present for the Kmart wishing tree.  This year the boys have washed our cars to earn money for their presents for the tree!  They never actually got the money for washing cars, it just meant they had worked for it themselves.  We got time today to go & do it.  They made good choices!  (even if it was all dinosaur related!)
