Pillows Pillows...

Pillow presents are still going along this year.  They have been well loved & received which is really good.  This Harry pillow was going to be hung on the wall he loved it so much!  Rather nice to hear isn't it?  

I felt in the mood for some more stitching after the stocking was complete so I got stuck into some new Mill Hill ornaments for my tree.

Allsorts

I had a birthday just before Stuart.  Nice & low key as well.  

My favourite 86 year old friend made me this bag with some of my favourite fabric at work!  What a great surprise.  It's a fabulous sock project bag.

Someone hunted me down in search of some slippers like the ones they purchased last year at our school fair.  So I gave in & made some in colours requested.  These are really such comfy slippers.  Can't blame them really.  I need new ones next winter.  Will have to decide on a colour eventually.  They will probably be left over colours.  

I've been experimenting with some bag patterns & bag stabilisers.  Haven't found a perfect one yet.  In the meantime though I am using stash & I will have an interesting variety of shopping bags!

It's Birthday season again! 

Big celebrations at our house...  but very low key...

I finally got onto this poor neglected Christmas stocking.  Second child syndrome for sure.  He's only waited 8 years, but 3 weeks of stitching & it's done.  It's just such a beautiful design.
