So the boys have spent this past term doing "Circus" at school.  Sounds like fun doesn't it!

Well the end came with a performance for all the classes.

The Kinder show was the day before the rest as they aren't at school Friday.  So I got to see that one at least. They were clowns.  Was cute.  DJ is doing a lot of balancing.

BJ's class did something involving "Occupations"  He was a policeman & caught the robbers.  I have seen a video of the whole classes performance so that was good.

Apparently it was warm enough to play under the sprinkler today!!!

BJ - We finally made it to the monthly childrens fishing session.  Both boys caught something but BJ was the most impressed!  Nice bit of trout.

DJ - Practising at Milo Cricket.  Loving it.

BJ - I had told BJ after lunch that he had to get dressed & go outside for while.  This is where he went.   With a book no less.

DJ - apparently this is how you sunbake.  After I took this one he was headed inside telling me he was going to do it properly.  I said he wasn't to get a towel!  lol

BJ - with his Picasso Cow that his class were lucky enough to get to paint.  He was also one of the lucky few to get to go to the presentation with the other 9 schools from the area that had one.

DJ - Apparently this is how married people dance, with a rose in their mouth.

BJ - his dinosaur that he mostly made by himself.  Very proud of him.

DJ - had to make him one too of course.  BJ sewed the body on it though.  Pretty cool though.

DJ - thoroughly revelling in cooking his own food!

BJ - was spying on DJ who was playing across the paddock.  Got a couple of nice shots of him in the meantime.

BJ - Looking the part down by the river.  Enjoying himself & wishing he would catch something!
DJ - His first real try fishing.  He also looked the part but attention span was short.  Plus he doesn't stop talking either.

Some rainy Sunday crafting.  Raided the craft box & found gold gems, lots of cool coloured paper & lots of other sticky things.  Crowns & Robinhood hats are in!

BJ - having a colouring day.  Spent some time colouring with dad too.  

DJ - Helping me baste quilts.  Has to have a go at everything.  He really can't let you do much of anything by yourself.

BJ - A book for his birthday with children's science experiments in it had him out trying a few different ones.  This was cool watching the balloon expand.  

DJ - engrossed in science experiments this week at school too & now at home, he came to me in the pose asking me to take a photo.  So funny.  I had to get it quick, this serious scientist face!  lol

Why is it that at 4.30pm the boys decide to get dressed & go outside to play!  It's almost dark!  Oh well, a bit of energy used up is good...
